Bring your own Beamer

Come to the Museum Folkwang with your beamer and a playback device and become part of the international BRING YOUR OWN BEAMER community. The exhibition format goes back to an idea by Rafaël Rozendaal, who first called for people to gather at a certain time in a certain place to project animations and videos simultaneously next to and on top of each other in 2010. At the heart of the simple and playful format is the fun of doing things together. Everyone is welcome to participate. So far, around 500 BYOBs have been realised worldwide, from Aarhus to São Paulo, from Auckland to Jekatarinburg.
