Catharina van Eetvelde

Catharina van Eetvelde’s (b. 1967) multifaceted oeuvre draws on the formal elements of scientific illustrations. Van Eetvelde puts her drawings together in contrasting combinations with text fragments and photographs as well as with three-dimensional objects, raising questions about the representation of nature and the production of knowledge.
